My Ghost

Wipe the tear from your cheek
And try to be strong
The day we'll be together again
Is not to awfully long

Although I've left this place
And gone to forever sleep
My memories will remain
And will always run deep

I will always be in the hearts
Of those who truly did love me
And even though my voice has ceased
Myself in pictures you can still see

Please don't ever forget me
This of you I plead
Thats why I wrote all these poems
For all of you to read

Do you now understand
Why I just had to go
Did you feel the suffering I felt
Or comprehend the pain I came to know

Please don't think bad of me
Because I am not on trial
Just do me one favor
When you think of me, smile
