The Perfect Kiss

This Poem is dedicated to a love I lost
and this is my first poem I wrote. It may not be very good but this is from the bottom of my heart:

I asked God for that special love,
That can only come from up above.
Thank God he sent you to me,
It was destined to be you and me.
But our love is forbidden,
It could only be hidden.
I want to be with you, together,
Forever.
I think about you all the time,
It hurts me knowing you're not mine.
When I'm with you everything goes by so fast,
I wish our love could forever last.
We talked about everything,
Our hopes and our dreams.
This bond that I share with you,
No one can ever break.
This love that I have for you,
No one can ever take.
My only opponent,
Is this one special moment.
So I stand up to my biggest fear,
Wipe away all of my tears,
Hold you close for that one special kiss,
I promise I will not miss,
It's inevitable to be,
The perfect kiss.
