Get Up

Dark thoughts
Feeding off the pain
Trying to live my life
Feeling like I'm smothering

Every time I lift myself up
Something comes along
To Knock me down
It's a wonder I don't
Just stay on the ground

I see the guiding light
I have hope
And I have strength

For every time
I get knocked down
I just get up again
