So Confused

*This isn't exactly a poem... it's just what's on my mind right now...*

Why do so many people say they love me? They don't even know who I am... or do they? Why do they WANT to care about someone like... me? I don't know, but I do know that if I end up caring for them they'll get hurt... it's what always happens... I like, they like, they love, I love, I die, I leave, I cry... nothing ever will change unless I let it. But how do I let the one's I love... go?
