Poem for Him

The night I was scared
A shadow was there
curtaining my fears
and made them disappear

For the times I am down
I look up and hes standing there
and reminds me of laughter
as i forget that frown

with a friend like him
a person has to be lucky to get
A lucky girl i am
this friendship I'll never forget

A friend told me once
no ones ever written a poem for him
so as my last writing
this finale poem is for him

some of it rhymes
most just scrambles thoughts
though nothings perfect with me
it'd be rather dull if it was.....

i know life's been rough
and seems impossible to get through
but please remember this
my dear friend i love you

I hope you the greatest of happiness
with your family and friends
and I promise things will get better
if you just see it to the end

flower wilt
seasons change
life takes its course
day after day

nothing can last forever
no matter what you do
just believe in your heart
and your dreams will come true

I promise to be your greatest friend
no matter what you do
your one or the greatest person I've met
