Tears from the moon

by Ben jammin   Mar 16, 2006

She's crying tears the moon gave her,
but didnt give the recipe

she was in my arms for hours,
sent her moon flowers
flowers the moon gave me,
flowers from the moon

she said thank you for the moon flowers
but i have something for you
she said its here, in my arms,
and a red dove flew into the sky

I LOVE the last stanza, I love the imagery, but the moon in the second stanza is a little repetetive. all in all though it's a good poem! keep writing Blessings

I like this, thought maybe the moon repetition in the second stanza was a bit much, but love the last stanza. This has a surreal quality that I haven't seen much from many poets on this site and personally I have always liked. And that makes it stand out.Impressive piece.
