Lonely Girl

by Lachelle   Mar 16, 2006

I see a girl who cries at night
I see a girl who's not alright
I see a girl brushing her hair with a comb
I see a girl who needs a home

A lonely girl is what I see
A lonely girl climbing a tree
She is left out in the cold
A letter for her family she had fold

I see a girl who wants to be loved
I see a girl who prays to the stars above
I see a girl who cries throughout the night
I hope she will be alright

A lonely girl is what I see
Maybe it is meant to be
Meant for her to die
As her parents cry and cry.

I see a girl who's happy with god Above
I see a girl who has someone to love
I see a girl who feels safe were she is now
I see a girl who's parents say how

A lonely girl is no longer what I see
She lives happily climbing her tree
As she swings so freely on her swing
She's now grateful for everything.
