I am the vampire

Silently the darkness falls,
To me all the shadows call
Beckoning I walk and fall
Into the hatred of it all

I walk toward the sidewalk still
Silently you pick your fill
Stalk me, stalk me, stalk me still
Now and for a while you will

I walk away toward the black
Not in intelligence I lack
I disappear behind your back
Watching you is like doing crack

You stand there lost, I can not be found
I stalk you without a single sound
Your footsteps make a sound profound
As you step up to the mound

I walk behind you as you run
I’m having oh so much fun
I catch you, you blood is one
With my body not under the sun

I bite into your neck and draw
The blood I drink, I drink it all
Never will I let me fall
As you become pale, my name you call
