The Prom Queen And the Spurned Outsider

by Momentary Relapse   Mar 17, 2006

He pours out his devotion unto her
She accepts his attentions without a thought
Inside he believes she loves him back
Emotions billow his soul she has bought

The school outsider was spurned at last
She knew she could do better than him
He cried out in frustration begging her stay
But turning she leaves him in a spin

Music his passion fills the void
Nullified love he leaves her life
She grows up the princess finding a man
After high school she is a mother and a wife

The prom queen she had once been
And he, the outsider back in the days
She turns on the TV she gasps in surprise
There he is speaking as he moves his gaze

Calling up her friends they all are in shock
A famous musician dressed all in black
Within her turbulent emotions soon pound
Crying out she whimpers wanting him back

Too late he has gone out of her reach
She lost her chance when she pushed him away
Now he is famous a shooting star
And she can no longer entice him to stay

*and so he dies alone despite being famous
this one is yet another awful piece

Yea, ya know, i just wasn't getting the best vibes from this one....the whole time all i could think about was the song "sk8r boi"...i felt it was VERY emotionless. I think that you could of had something if it was YOUR own idea, not avrils...but other than that, good.
