What Are The Reasons?

I'm lying there on the bed,
Thinking about life,
Thinking about what makes us this way.

How does God decide how our lives should be.
They say theres a reason for everything.
If thats true,
Then whats the reason for all the horrible things that are going on in this world?

The poor can barely get through the day,
The homeless have no money or even a place to stay.
Women, and even men, selling there bodies just to get by,
People getting diseases from eachother,
War between countries,
Innocent people dying.

People try to help out,
But no matter how much you do or say,
Things will always be the same.

Like I always say,
God works in mysterious ways.

*Ok I don't know if this is good or not, so if you guys can comment on it and tell if you like it, if not, tell me how to improve it, I'd really appreciate it, THANKS!*

    Good intentions but I think you could have gone far with this: Maybe describe the homeless as you see them, or how you feel about people seeling themselves. The words are great alone but maybe you could add something to make it seem deeper. 4/5
