This Snuff

by Larry Green   Mar 18, 2006

What happened to you?
Im saddened by the dying memory
Of who you used to be
Dont you see
Youre beginning to deter from who you once were
Now youre consumed with rage
And feel like a caged lion
Just tryin to keep from dyin
And only lyin to yourself...all to look cool
In front of a couple of kids at school
Who, when looked back on, only made you look like a fool

Wishing every night you would have done whats right
And put up a fight
Instead of caving into peer pressure
That lecture everyone gave you to be mature and just say no
You threw out the window
It went in one ear and out the other
It even made you think you killed your mother
Just one other thing this stuff did to you

When you revisit that time you feel useless
Because you cant keep yourself from this mess or the choice youre making
And no one can hear what youre saying to save you from decaying
And to keep you from straying from the right way
Dont be a fool
And dont listen to what they say
Its not okay
It will lead you astray each and every day
Making you pay
For that single day
That you began to decay
And youll pray that you could take it all back
Not even try that crap
Its the worse kind of trap
Not for your body, but for your mind
Youll become blind of all the time
Youve spent building all this trust
But now you just disgust
All those who ever cared about you

This stuff breaks you
It takes you
To a place that youre not
You get angry
And ultimately endangering
Not only your life
But the life of everyone around you
They care about you
And just want to do what you do
But are now using voodoo on you
Just to show you the pain that this stuff, this snuff
Does to you

This snuff breaks you
It takes you
It decimates you
So for goodness sake
For your sake and for the sake of everyone youve ever known
Just take that crapright out of your mouth

Dont just do it for me
Do it for you and all your family and friends
Who have never done anything to offend
And will be with you until the very end
Even if that end comes sooner than anticipated
Because you didnt know when to abstain
From staining your body with this snuff...
So before its too late please refrain
From straining your body ever again

NOTE: Drugs ruin not only your life but the lives of everyone you love

1 - the stanza thing.... makes it easier 4 us 2 read lol

2 - try to either stick to rhyming or not.... cause I was a bit confused at times *sniffs* or prehaps I'm just dumb..... lol
