A friends love

Everytime I look into your eyes,

I see something new, a new surprise.

I see a guy that's sweet and smart,

and hope someday you will open your heart.

I see you almost everyday,

and hope soon to hear you say,

Oh! how I long to hear those simple little words,

for when I would say yes I would be assured.
