Lost

You sit here alone
you wonder why
you wonder if you could have done something
you wonder why they had to die

could you have stopped them
could you have helped them
could you fix their pain inside
could you stop the tears they've cried
how could they commit suicide

now you feel guilty inside
you never got to say goodbye
you weren't there when they needed you
so this is what you do

you feel regret
you feel pain
you feel guilt
and you do it all again
the next day comes same old thing

your life feels so empty
your so consumed by guilt and regret
you cant be by your self because of the way you feel
you go through life like this
until one day you self destruct
now you know that you need help
and you know who your true friends are
because they are there to help you
