Depressed

What is this feeling,
She feels deep inside.
It fills her with fear,
and crushes her pride.
She can't overrule it,
it swallows her whole.
So she puts on a front,
and just plays a big role.

What is this feeling,
progressing each day.
It breaks down her soul,
As she seems to decay.
How could one small emotion,
rule someones whole life.
Then sit back to watch,
As she struggles through strife.

What is this feeling,
And what has it done.
She put up a fight,
but we both know who won.
**************************
What is this feeling,
we all know and hate.
And how could it control
this poor woman's fate?
