The Crown of a Chrsitian Mother

by DiscoBore234   Apr 29, 2006

He said he'll never leave me,
He'll never let me down.

They ask me how I know this,
I say I've seen the crown.

The crown she wears upon her head
He placed it there himself.

I watched her as she sat and read,
A book from off the shelf.

I listened as she read aloud,
The contents of this book.

I accidently made a sound,
And then she turned to look.

She sat me down upon one knee,
Then looked me in the eye.

Explained to me so I could see,
And then began to cry.

Her eyes were filled with tears of joy
As she told me of this man.

Born as Mary's little boy,
And slain as God the Lamb.

This poem needs some help!! I dont know what to put on the last line. Its not finished!!
