One of Those Break-Up, "He Done her Wrong" Poems

*Now, if you have read ANYTHING else of mine, you know free verse isn't my style. Which is why there's a little bit of rhyme in this. Chances are, you are all gonna hate this new style... But hey, we should all try new stuff now and then. Anyway, be honest, but actually READ it. Thannnk yoooou.*

There's not even a point.
Up is down...
Black is white...
I lost the fight
and it's not alright.
Would a reason
really
be that much to ask?

Excuse me for thinking
That we were more than nothing.
More than dirt.
That when you said "I care..."
You meant it.
But you didn't mean what you said
And any care you had is dead
All I see is anger

I wasn't enough
It was a lame excuse...
One of those:
"I-don't-really-know-why-I-don't-feel-for-you-anymore-but..."
But you don't.
I was good.

Hell, I was GREAT.
But for you now... it\'s just too late.
'Cuz even if you wanted me back
(And you don't)
I have moved along
Even though YOU were in the wrong
I'm scared and I'm hurt.
Again.

But I'll be okay
And you'll think of me
And wonder what might've been
Yeah, you'll want me again

But it's too late.
You missed out on this, baby.
You don't give a damn
About who I am...

    Sooo..i'm thinking this is beyond spectacular.
    Mhmm.
    YAY!!!!! Miss Carlee is BAAAACKK!!! I've missed you like WHOA! And i remember always telling you that you needed to get online to poems-and-quotes more often. and you always said you weren't ready or something. I can't really remember.
    But, point being-welcome back!!! I've really really missed your poems. For so long, its felt empty, like all the people I love have just abandoned this place. But its starting to feel more alive to me now. Thank youuu!!

    I dont even know what to say! i'm soooo happy that you're writing again! i mean, even if this is a one-time deal, i've really missed your writing. and it was amazing, as usual. so deep... gosh i love you, kid! the new style is definitely gonna work for you, bud! anyway, i gotta get to bed, but i loved this, and if i could vote, you'd be getting a 5/5!!!

    WOW!!1 did you say hate this peice?! UMMM NO TRY LOVE THIS PEICE! I am so thankful to the person who got me reading no-rhyming poems because I am loving them so much! I loved how here and there was a rhyme but the rest was pure emotion! That was awesome and PLEASE keep trying this style I encourage you..I liked!!! you defiantly get a five from me! and I am a person who votes honestly! I really liked this and especially the title!
