Will you be the one I come to when I'm sad
Will you be the one to calm me when I'm mad
Will you be the one that holds my hand
Will you be with me as my life washes away with the sand
Will you be the one I lean on when I'm weak
Will you be that treasure that I seek
Will you be the one who rescues my broken heart
Will you be the one that wishes never to part
Will you be the one that stays with me through this strife
Will you be the one I may soon call my wife
If so I promise to be these for you and when that time comes to stand strong
And protect you from harm as a man does for a woman, as a husband does for his wife.
