Inflamed with passion and desire

by Daniel   Mar 22, 2006

Inflamed with passion and desire, yet still
I cannot fill my verse with rhythm and rhyme:
Am I so barren that love will never till
This soil, my mind, to grow sweet love in time?
This teacher, love, through harsh instruction taught
Me passion: jealous hate, love and desire,
For loving one like you, I know, I sought
The self destruction of my heart's own fire.
So why therefore continue down this road
Of total self destruction by my mind?
Why plant the seeds of love in this abode,
My mind: sensibility defined?
My heart's sweet silent love and passion hidd'n,
So mind may know and show my heart when bidd'n.

Ah the sweet softness of young lovers singing their songs of love and passion. May your heart be strong and if it should ever break may you tenderly carress each crack with sweet remeberence as you embrace the memories of those moments when your heart was full of hope and unblinded by reality. Love is grand - keep up your good works...
