Am I a fool to fall in love so fast?

by Daniel   Mar 22, 2006

Am I a fool to fall in love so fast?
To sink and drown in tempest seas of death?
Currents of passion wild, untamed, do blast
Great swells of dieing waves to sap my breath.
Now have I known you all of one full day,
And feel I now the raging flames, desire,
Desire to hold, soothe, love, without delay
Else all my body racked and scorched by fire.
But timeless Love sees neither days nor nights
But rather hearts that may or may not merge,
And casts all time away in all despite
Of life, subject of time, where we converge:
So hasty love is never false, but true,
So long as all my joy and pain's from you.
