Another Day

Here we go another day

A chance to start over they say

But my past it never leaves

It always seems to follow me

Don't live in the past they say

But it won't seem to go away

Can't stop myself I feel no shame

In thinking back to yesterday

It's just another part of life

It's not something that you can hide

The future I dwell on that too

It's just something I want to do

No way to hide from what was or will be

In life I just need to be me
