I miss you

I wrote this poem just for you,
Because to me you were loyal and true,
I miss you more each day that goes by,
For you i shed a tear i have to cry,
Your the reason i survived this long and lonely trip,
Because you were there for me just more than a bit,
Your the shooting star in my night,
So may i wish for you my knight?
Is the smile i once saw still there,
Or is your face now cold and bare,
I wonder now what you do,
Because without you i don't know what to do,
Whats the point in feeling sad,
I guess its just i miss you like mad,
Everything Ive missed i want to know,
I hope someday that you will show,
Growing up without you is hard,
All i do is read your cards,
Days have passes since i saw you last,
I miss you so much i just we you could see,
All the pain and hurt leaving you has caused me,
Time goes slow without you here,
All i see is anguish and fear,
People are different there not the same,
But i guess all i have is myself to blame,
Please let me find a friend like you,
Winters ending spring is near,
Nearly a year ago now i lost my best friend,
But could i remain the same ,
How you once knew me,
Why don't people understand
What its like to leave your home ground,
Id say id be ok but that would be a lie,
This is not goodbye this is goodbye with tears down my eyes,
There aren't many ways of saying goodbye,
Especially when you don't want to cry,
To me you were everything,
You could even be the king,
I wouldn't care what you were,
As long as you were with me,
Even if it was just in heart,
I knew i could count on you from the start,
Your returning smile everyday,
Oh how i wish i could turn back your way,
I suppose theres not much chance of that happening now,
But i wish i could see you for just for one minute,
Even if it was only for a second
It would take away all of my problems,
