His suicide

by sara   Mar 24, 2006

When something inside a person dies
They feel as though they have nothing left
They try to go on with life like nothings wrong

They take the day on as each day comes
On the outside they stand up tall and strong
But inside they know life is crumbling away

No one really knows for sure why he did it
I guess things just kept building up
Until he snapped and did something irreversable

When everyone found out what had happened
No one wanted to believe it
We all just felt so sad and upset at once

We all just sat around, talkin about the good times we had with him
Some memories made us laugh, yet others made us cry
But we all know no matter what we\'ll never forget him

This poem was written in loving memory for matthew stawniak who commiteed suicide. June 27, 1991 - October 27, 2005
