Crimson Tears

by Ariel   Mar 24, 2006

She sits in the light,
She watches the rain.
She can hear them fight,
She can feel the pain.

Silent tears fall down her face,
Her cheeks are flushed a shade of pink.
She walks to the bathroom with an elegant grace,
And stops in front of the porcelain sink.

They do not stop,
They never do.
She wants it to stop,
She needs it too.

She reaches for the silver knife,
And places it to her snow white skin.
She doesn't want to live through life,
She doesn't want to know who will win.

With one quick motion,
She pulls the blade.
This is her notion,
She never really was afraid.

The crimson blood flows down her arm,
It runs into a bright red pool.
The blood itself is nice and warm,
Why did life have to be so cruel?

She lays her head upon the wall,
She lived through all these horrible years.
But now it's time for her to fall,
It's time she shed those crimson tears.
