A Dream

Floating in darkness,
everything black,
trying to escape,
trying to go back,
theres laughter somewhere,
close but far,
illusion, delirious,
don't know where you are,
a sudden flash,
of light and of sound,
no more floating,
you hit the ground,
unreasoned you run,
both scared and confused,
at last two doors,
which one will you choose,
panicking, craziness,
a voice from near,
is anyone out there,
can anyone hear,
"no they can't" says a voice,
a voice in your head,
"you are alone",
"but you're not dead",
you think of a question,
but you cannot ask,
and then you rush back,
back to the past,
everyones near,
but they cannot see,
you reach out to touch them,
you reach desperately,
but somehow you know,
not knowing even how,
that they cannot feel,
not one among the crowd,
but as you draw nearer,
your vision gets clearer,
you're alive and unharmed,
and wake by your alarm.......
