Seasons

Lets go home
sit down and sip our tea
we'll write bad poetry
and everything will be perfect,
in our own little world
we'll forget anything ever happened
it'll all be okay

cold crisp designs
falling from above
so white it could blind a man
so cold it could freeze a hot temper
everyone looks like an Eskimo

snowflakes bounce around like springs

raindrops fall from the empty sky's above
gracefully falling into the full oceans and green seas
drowning those beneath the earth
quenching the entire world,
with another drink

it's still too cold, we'll spring into hot weather

the dry sand beneath our feet
beach towels is all we need
giant umbrellas line the shores
with this hot sun beating down on us
cool drinks all around

it's still too hot, let's cool it down and fall

swirling leaves everywhere
once green but now turning brown
cool winds toss our hair around
you can smell the flowers from afar
they smell so sweet

let's fall back to our winter wonderland

all the seasons have gone by
we didn't even realize it
we were to busy writing, enjoying ourselves
to actually see the true beauty of this world
...this world we call our own
