this picture was my muse for this poem
--------------------------

It's so soft and sweet
like a baby's lullaby
gracefully flying through the air
gliding on a breeze of summers scent
taking natures gift, pollen of a flower
the nectar bitter sweet
in the garden, the dream scape
hear the screams of a butterfly
it's so passionate
it could melt a kiss
yet so bold
that it could break a heart
it's so beautiful that it's ugly
it's an undying wish to hear it's screams
a child's dream, to touch the beautiful creature
to hear the screams of a butterfly,
is only meant for my ears
only i can understand it, and it's needs
it's constant need to be beautiful
and to be known
and mostly to be heard, and understood by everyone
can you hear it now
can you hear the screams of the butterfly?

This was a beautifully written poem, with excellent imagery. I liked the ending, and the use of rhetorical questions. Above all, your diction is well beyond your years. Bravo, and keep writing always.
