A dark thought of something I don't know

A life I hated, a past I dread
A world where I was completely alone

An infatuation too strong to realize you were always gone

A battle which I know I didn't win.
A summer of nothing but passion and lust
A relationship built on everything except trust.
You were everything to me at one time
Now I look back and this is what I see
