Like the moon

We've had our little fights,
We got over that so soon.
Now I sit here thinking,
While I'm staring at the moon.

The moon reminds me of you,
So happy and so bright.
The light you made me see,
Even in our worst fight.

The moon is so steady,
So bright and so calm.
I wouldn't hesitate to,
Put My life in your palm.

When everyone else had given up,
You kept me so very strong.
You never stop your trying,
Even when the days were long.

I don't know how to thank you,
But to tell you this.
When the day comes,
Your the one I'll miss.
