Somewhat insane

She tore her skin from left to right
appeared upon the lonely road with fright

it was a tragedy everyone would think
why would she commit such a crime
maybe they didnt realize the temptations she kept having of ending her time

the lonely nights spent cutting her wrists
and receiving from others the pitiless glimpse
the only thing she proceeded to do was smile that smile that wasnt even true

she wants to be happy, she really does
but from the outlook of it,
no one wants to understand
her life cant get better from just a shrieking command

her parents scream and shout
and shes laying there trying to tell them what its about

but she doesnt even know all the reasons shes feeling this pain
shes realizes in her head,
that shes somewhat insane

through it all shes frightened and miserable
she wonders if her life can change
and make her quest of happiness, conceivable
