In The Moment

by Just Sierra   Mar 26, 2006

I'm stuck in the moment
And I don't know what to do
This time I really froze in wonder
Just catching a glimpse of you.

Your amethysts eyes stop the clock,
And my heart just skips a beat.
I try to take a breath, but there's no air
In the silence that's sugar sweet.

Without saying a word at all,
You captured my heart forever and more.
I'm speechless as my heart drops
And I'm more breathless than before.

Then so swiftly you turned your back
And started to tread into the distance,
Ignoring that I was still entranced
And you ripped me despite my resistance.

Suddenly I was frozen in shock
And the world was spinning around
Tears swelled into my eyes
As my heart kept plummeting down.

I'm stuck inside this moment
It keeps spinning like a wheel inside my mind
I'm afraid I'll never feel the same
And like a film, I'm stuck on rewind.
