Seasons

by Christy Trenholm Schmall   Mar 26, 2006

I look down the night lit road
From under camouflage
of thick Maple leaves
Fall wind blows gently thru
my hair, my head
Kissed by virgin snow
Scent of a summer storm
doesn't matter always
your essence reaches
my heart
again

This is really nice. however, reading through, I thought

    Fall wind blows gently thru
    my hair, my head
    Or the first virgin snow
    or a summer storm

the line - Or the first virgin snow - seems abrupt in the flow. It is probably the word Or in the first line.

the thread of thought is really well done - I like the idea of the essence of love staying strong through time.

    love and peace
    shobhana
