Pain

Pain surrounds my every action,
I cant handle it anymore,
My life is no longer in tact,
Ive felt this pain before.

love no longer lingers in the night air surrounding me,
hate has overpowered all.
Im slipping into darkness,
Please catch me before i fall.

My paper heart barely there,
It has so many rips and folds,
But it has been caused by so much pain,
It is now icy and cold.

Sleepless nights terrify me,
For im still connected to reality,
Im afraid of it all,
I want to be free;

of pain
of hate
of him

    Hmm. I like this poem. The flow was really good and the format was good except for one stanza:

    love no longer lingers in the night air surrounding me,
    hate has overpowered all.
    Im slipping into darkness,
    Please catch me before i fall.

    "love no longer lingers in the night air "

    I think that line is too long and breaks off from the flow a little.

    Other than that, great job.
