Asthenia vain

by SEAN   Mar 27, 2006

We play with fire and i get burned
i taste regret in its most illicit form
i take a walk to clear my mind
to make sense of warnings that i defied

i walk among afflictions
placed to mislead my cause
yet with no form of direction
i make it harder for us

what do you think this meant to me
through eyes of shattered stone
your weapon feeble coarse duplicity
merely makes you feel alone

take a while to form a disguise
fashioned from havoc and a polished red eye

well keep in touch till the wounds tear apart and tie back the strings and prepare to depart

and until we meet again ill lock all the doors while you clean the blades and hand up the claws
