For the last time

As he raises his hand I begin to understand
That no love is worth the hate that I feel
Now Im running out of pain
And all these feelings feel the same
So Im going to close my eyes,
And wish for a better tomorrow.

You try and find the words to say,
To ease my heart and mind,
But I just hide where no one can see,
Its only me that can set me free.
I look deep within my heart,
To find my last bit of strength Ive buried there,
As I turn to walk away I can hear him taunting,
Youll never make it in this world alone.

Hes not bothering to run after me,
He knows I wont get far,
I try to fight,
I try to hide the pain,
And then I drift back to him.

Life is a deadly cycle,
One I cannot break,
And as I close my eyes,
Pills numbing my brain.
I run away... for the last time.
