The Lifelong Race

by FrozenTearsBleed   Mar 27, 2006

From foaming waters flowing fast and long,
I sing my last and only song,
I'm going to die I swear this to you,
The ocean waves look too blue,
When I close my eyes I see angels that cry,
One day too I shall fly,
If you kill me god I'll praise you forever,
If you dont the devil will hes too clever.

I dont want to live anymore,
I lie here dying on my kitchen floor,
Shades of gray are my faces sheet,
This life of mine I cannot beat,
No more sunshine no more pain,
I dont want blood to rush through my vains,
If I lie in my coffin and lay in silent state,
I will be able to choose my very own fate.

I've died now I'm gone far,
I've been melted away like the hottes of tar,
Finally I'm dead this is where I\'m meant,
My hearts finally come unbent,
I fly oh yes finally I soar,
I pet the lion that doesnt want to roar,
Everything is calm and at peace and grace,
I've finally won the lifetime race.
