The Spirit Flesh World

by Tink   Mar 27, 2006

In the world where dreams collide
And reality does not exist
She sits quietly at the counter
With a light drink in one hand
And a strange black cigarette in the other.
Her spirit shows to be fierce and fiery
But her flesh remained calm.
Tears threatened to fall once more,
But she willed them to dry up and be gone.
As she ordered another drink she could see
From the corner of her translucent eye
A calm spirit on the other side of the bar.
But she could only think of an old love
When she turned away.
With a fogging green drink in hand
She stared at the captivating spirit
Inside of a sad fiery flesh.
But every time she looked away
She thought of the old dieing love,
And wondered what it was that she wanted.
Did she want something new?
And be forced to start over, from the very beginning?
Or did she want to fix what was left
Of what was dieing?
Her spirit flared with hurt,
And the tears finally felt and dripped down her flesh.

In the world where dreams collide
And reality does not exist
He sat at the very end of the glass bar.
His hand held only a chalice of clear orange liquid
And in his mouth- the same strange black cigarette.
His spirit was calm and artic blue,
But his flesh was stormy and lethal.
His red eyes shown a melancholy look as he kept his head low.
His spirit had tears flowing,
But his flesh showed no hurting, nor pain.
Looking around, his eyes caught a glance from
The most beautiful creature he'd ever seen.
Her fiery spirit attracted him
As he wished that she would smile.
His flesh became antsy and he wants so much
To wipe the tears from her flesh.
But the time passing only made him feel even lonelier.
His spirit's blue flame became smaller and weaker
When she turned away and cried.
Was the world coming to an end?
He was sure what he wanted, but did she know?
When she did not look at him again
He closed his eyes and laid his head down
As the tears drench his spirit flame.
The pain was overwhelming and unbearable.
His spirit only wanted one thing- her.

In the world where dreams collide
And reality does not exist
Where you can see the spirit as well as the flesh,
A familiar darkness formed in the center of the room.
She dropped all to run to be in the embrace
That the strange shadow provides her with.
He looked at the darkness and wondered about it,
He walked slowly towards it
Not quiet knowing why he did.
Maybe because of the familiarity of it,
Or maybe because he was captivated by the mystery
That was in the air around the darkness.
In the middle of this darkness
He found her again-
And she found him.
They united together in their blindness,
Knowing exactly who the other was.
Still she thought of her old love,
And still he feared missing or loosing her.
But with all that, they still held each other and neither left.
Through the darkness they became one,
But their spirits and flesh threatened to break the one into two.
Her pale skin felt warm next to his cold spirit.
Can a vampire and a dark angel love?
Can they remain one?
Will the vampire girl start anew?
Can the angel boy hold her tight enough
That she would not want him to let go?
Only Future will be able to answer those questions of mine.
For now I will remain and let them fight together,
Let them remain as one
Inside of the darkness I am- inside my gift to them.
