They Never Knew The Man

She was such a nice girl
Lovely and never trouble
Everyone knew her
Loved her from the beginning

There was a lonely man
Everyone knew him well
Never hurt a fly
Or so they thought

She was just 14. He was 32.
He watched her from a far
She never had a clue
That fate was after her

He knew her every move
Knew where she would be
No one would ever know
She would never tell

Followed her home one night
Stopped her half way there
Pulled a gun out
Told her to get in the car

She saw the gun
Didn't struggle to get in
Scared of the man
Scared for her life

He took her to his house
Showed her to his room
Pushed her to the bed
Told her not to scream

One hand holding her down
The other taking her cloths off
He took his cloths off
He knew how wrong it was

She started to cry
As he put it in
It hurt so bad
She felt blood trickle down her leg

There was nothing she could do
He was on top of her
All she could do was wait
And hope for it to be over soon

It seemed like forever had passed
When he finally got off
Told her to take a shower
She did what she was told

She turned the hot water on
She felt so dirty
She turned the water off
Quickly got dressed

HE told her if she told anyone
He would do it again
And then kill her
She didn't say a word

She finally got home
Told her parents she stopped at a friends
Went up to her room
And cried herself to sleep

The next day, the school called her parents
She never showed up for school that day
Quickly they rushed home
To find the fate of their daughter

Lying dead cold on the bathroom floor
Fathers gun still in her hand
A note explaining everything that happened
The night a man took her virginity and self respect

The trembling mother took hold of the note
Reading all the frightening details of her her rape
The crying father tried to come under control
To call the ambulance and police

They never knew the man
Who decided to hurt their baby
They never knew the man
Who took her innocence

**This isnt about me. I hear alot about rape and I am really inspired to write when tragic things happen. Its such an emotional thing to talk and write about. If anyone needs somone to talk to, Im here**
