A Scratch will soon disappear,

A Bruise will stay for awhile,

A Scar will slowly begin to fade day by day,

A Broken Heart will always stay,

It won't ever go away,

It's pain hurts the most,

It's pain comes from within the heart and soul,

The ones we loved the most, tore us apart,

We can never imagine,

A broken heart,

Until you feel it for yourself,

The blue skies will become Gray,

Tears will pour down your face,

The hurt will show through your eyes,

Your red roses will become black,

You'll never wanna face the world again,

You'll want to be left alone, to mend in your sorrow,

Your smile that was once placed on your face,

Will soon start to fade,

You'll wear a frown,

Your laugh, will be forgotten,

The rain in your heart will pour,

You'll feel like your whole world is falling apart,
