I live today

I woke up this morning
with the sun on my face
a warm heart beat
says ill live today

with all my troubles gone
i can fly away
into the clouds
with jesus with me all the way

a walk through the park
a stroll on the beach
a jog on the street
the ground at my feet

as i cross the street
a car comes my way
a thump and a crash
theres been a accident today

im lying in bed
my life in their hands
i say to myself
ill live today

the days past by and still i lay
in my bed until this very day
but the next day i stand up and say
i have lived all these days

day after day
a heart on my sleeve
my life passing by me
my life in their hands

i live today
because of them
they saved my life
so.. i lived today..:)
