My fragile existance

Fake a smile,
Force a laugh.
Try to hide,
What's inside.
I'd do anything,
Everything,
To be close to you.
To escape,
Even for an hour,
From this pain,
Pain that fills me up,
Pain that can't be explained,
That never goes away.
Maybe one day i won't cry,
But to reach a moment of happiness,
Must I die?
This world is big,
And I'm alone.
Surrounded by people,
Alone inside.
They hear,
But they don't listen.
Don't turn away from me,
Like I'm a disease you might catch.
I need a hand to hold,
A voice to lead me.
I need a place,
A place to belong.
I'm lost within these walls,
In this place,
I can't escape,
Darkness falls,
Down past my eyes,
I hear cries,
They come from my soul.
I'm locked away,
For I don't belong,
Because I'm not OK,
I'm not just fine.
When I cry,
And no one hears,
I slip away,
To my fears.
Take my hand,
And with it my heart,
Wipe away my tears,
Be my light,
Shine so bright.
I need this eternal darkness,
To turn to light,

Save me from myself,
Pull me through this locked door,
Break it down,
Fight the ghosts,
That make me scared.
Let me live,
Don't force me to die.
With out you i fear i won't survive

Theres a knife on my wrist,
Theres a heart on my sleeve,
Theres a choke in my throat,
Theres a burden on my shoulders,
