Fly

by Stephenie   Oct 19, 2006

Through the window,
Lies a looking glass,
Showing us the future,
And reminding us of the past.

The sun is the light,
Warm on your face,
The breeze takes your words,
Carrying them to another place.

Open up the window,
Throw the curtains aside,
Breathe in the fresh air,
Watch the scenery fly by.

Young girl,
Your life is just beggining,
And boy,
You've nothing but time.

Take today and make it bright,
Hold your head up high.
Tomorrow you'll do things right,
Climb on to the wings of time.

Don't count the days you live,
As the days before you die.
Take each and every second,
As the time you have to try.

Spread your wings,
Its time to fly.
