Air So Vile

by CarissalRADIOFACEl   Apr 1, 2006

Hiding eyes
worrying hearts
No way to be
too far apart
pretending faces
faking smiles
holding breath
air so vile
Bleeding scars
never heal
Taking time
never will
Sinking deeper
lakes, rivers
air so cold
sending shivers
Recent endings
new beginnings
always losing
never winning
Take a breath
see it fade
trees can't grow
under shade
Foot prints covered
day old blood
no way to know
never could
Sheilding shadows
see the ground
broken promises
never found
Tears dried up
soaked in water
drowning spirits
never falter
Be afraid
to lend a smile
in shallow water
air so vile.
