One Second Too Late

by CarissalRADIOFACEl   Apr 1, 2006

And she hung her head
as she walked by.
They all saw her fall
and just watched her cry.
And maybe they knew
that it was her fate
when her smile came
one second too late.
And perhaps we saw
what she'd never see
that she never was all
she was cracked up to be.
And there she goes
trying so hard too fake
that her smile didn't come
one second too late.
