Wasted Away

by Monique Seidler   Apr 2, 2006

Feel the warmth of his body,
the taste of his smile.
The purest of feelings.
The love of a child.

Fell the absolute perfect
was that you two loved.
The joy and the pain,
you felt not enough.

See the way that he smiles,
the way that he moves.
The simplest of things
that leave you confused.

See his laughing and kindness,
his tenderness too.
The way that he whispers,
"I really love you."

Now take all these feelings,
these sights and these sounds
completely delete them,
he's no longer around.

That is my life now.
What I live every day.
How will the hurt
ever go away?
