No More

by Monique Seidler   Apr 2, 2006

Painted pictures,
glittered gowns.
Things I think of
when I'm feeling down.

Things that only
the heart would desire.
Things taht could
never soar higher.

Wishes and dreams
that will never come true.
Wishes for thing
you would never do.

No more guns
would be shot off.
No more children
would have to cough.

No more drugs,
and no abuse.
No more sorrows
cause it's no use.

No more violence,
and no more threats.
No more killing
of anyone's pets.

No more bad guys
to put in jail.
No more stories
that make us pale.

No more teasing
othe people.
No more burning
of church steeples.

No more bad things.
No more crime.
The no more people
would be short a dime.
