Melted Paper, Broken Glass

by {Miss} [A][L][L][I][S][O][N]   Apr 3, 2006

Your pointed words
Slowly tear
Through my paper skin
Leaving tiny
Almost invisible
Slits
That will soon turn into
A gaping hole
No tape can fix

Your tangled web of lies
Has me on top of the world
But each silk thread
Of the web
Is breaking
Much like my glass bones
As I hit the ground

Your callous laugh
It is water
And my paper skin
It melts away

My empty soul
It will soon be exposed

Your laughs
They poor in
They melt away
My paper skin
