The story that was never told

by Erica   Apr 4, 2006

My daddy has a problem
He never puts the bottle down
He tells me he loves me
But he brings his friends around

He tucked me in that night
I said a little prayer to the lord above
Asking for a different way
For daddy to show his love

Later in the night
I heard them creeping up the stairs
Daddy's friends barged in
And told me to take off my underwear

Shaking with fear
I called my daddy's name
He came in and jumped on top of me
And told me we were playing a new game

Tears streaming down my cheeks
His friends holding me down
Daddy's drinking from his bottle
Pulling at my night gown

Then an awful pain
He forced it inside
I screamed at the top of my lungs
Wishing he would die

Daddy left my room
Mommy soon came home
Ashamed of what had happened
My story about that night was never told.
