Shadow Lining

by CrysluvsBowie   Apr 5, 2006

Darkness,
Thats all i see.
All i feel.
I crane my soul to see the light above,
The only hope i hold is the one i left.
With my frail body.
And murdered soul.
I no longer fight the fate,
i was to be bestowed.
Can't you see?
The petty line i walk,
This gray wire i dare to cross.
Ice cold wind pushing,
Up into my porcelain face,
Tears frozen to my white eyes.
My arms spread out wide to keep my composure.
Shaking with fear and shame,
Confidence is not one to gain.
Voices whispering through my dreamy torment.
My outlook seemed doomed,
Looking downward at the river of darkness.
Massacre stared back,
I slink across this shadowed line,
Of fate.
