Shattered Heart (Choka)

by Simon Hayes   Apr 5, 2006

Pierce my shattered heart
It shall no longer shed tears
Tears now all cried out

Crush our history
Our beautiful memories
The one thing that I have left

File only badness
Our times of woe and sadness
I had forgotten

Demoralize us
Ruin everything we shared
Take with you our hopes and dreams

Leave me clinging on
To this now desolate love
This weak affection

But please do me this
Take with you this shattered heart
Dispose of it how you will

For I no longer
Need the pain I bear within
That you served daily

The only comfort that can be gained is that time will heal these wounds.
