Wrecked to the Bone

by Iola   Apr 5, 2006

You are my darling sister, wrecked to the bone;
Open your eyes, because you are not alone.
In this battle between the living and the dying;
Be a brave fighter, and you will be flying.

Up in the blue skies above, with angels and those;
March forward and share this life – on the tip of your toes.
You are only flesh, a soul that’s wrecked to the bone.
I’ll fight with you, because you are not alone.

Now sleep peaceful tonight, and know that God is near;
Love will make it alright, just put on your golden gear.
I will love you forever, I lay you before His feet.
This is only temporary, and I already smell defeat!!

All my love; your sister.
